This seems obvious to most of us but in the age of gender equality we hate to assume. In this case assumptions would be correct; overall females regret casual encounters more than males.

They found 35% of women feel guilty after a one-night stand compared to only 20% of men. The study also shows some interesting facts including 70% of Western Europeans will have a one-night fling and 50% of North Americans will do the same.

The Norwegian study also showed 80% of women were pleased they passed on a casual sex, while only 43% of men were happy they decided to turn down a casual sexual encounter.
